How to Target Your Market with Google Keyword Research Tools

How to Target Your Market with Google Keyword Research Tools

Have you ever heard of the 80/20 rule?  Well when it comes to the internet it basically means that 80% of the traffic only goes to the about 20% of the websites online.  So where does that leave you?  If you are just starting out on the internet you want to be able to compete and be among the 20%.  Most websites and blogs are created but unfortunately are never read or found.  That is because the most popular search engine in the world is Google.  If your website is not ranked on the first page of Google then chances are people will not be able to find your website.

In this post, I will be telling you and “Showing” you how to target your market with free Google Keyword Research Tools.  Finding the right keywords is a science in its own.  Basically, you have to put yourself in the perspective of your target audience.

Ask These Questions to Understand Your Target Market:

1.  What are some of my Target Markets Problem? Many times people search online because they have a question or problem they want to solve so they are searching for the right answer.  The other day, my wife was not feeling well and she had a sore throat.  So she searched on Google how to cure a sore throat with common household items.  - Answer she found was to gargle some warm water with salt.  Problem solved!
2.  What do they want to Learn About?  The second biggest reason people search online is to learn something new.  This might be a reason why you are reading this website today.  You want to learn how to generate leads online.  Identifying some things that people want to learn will help you understand their wants and desires.
3.  They want to be Entertained!  Some people go surf the internet for pure entertainment.  They want to read something funny or watch a funny video.  Or read about the latest trends and gossips.
Now that you have a little better understanding of your target market you can start to research what words or phrases they are more likely to search on the search engines.

Watch How to use the Google Keyword Research Tool:

Google offers a Free Keyword Research Tool all you need is a Gmail account or Google account.  You can use the research tool by clicking on this link:  Google Keyword Research Tool
Another free Google tool I like to use is “Google Trends
This will help you identify if your topic or niche is trending up or down according to the amount of searches done online on Google.  It is important to identify your Target Keywords because you will strategically be placing them throughout your websites, blog posts, pictures, videos and Facebook Fan Page.
This is the reason why I suggest performing Keyword Research before you begin spending all this time and energy creating a Facebook Fan page or website.  I have personally wasted a lot of time and money in the beginning by building up websites and not performing the  necessary research and I didn’t get any visitors.  I share this with you so you don’t make the same mistake.
Thank you once again for taking the time to read this article, I hope it was helpful and will bring you one step closer to your goals of generating leads online.
If you can leave a me a comment below and share how you perform Target Market research I would love to hear your ideas.

How to Dress for an Interview

The First Impression –The Most Important One
Candidates for jobs wearing jeans, purple sweat suits, and spike heels or sneakers. Other applicants weren't afraid to show pierced body parts , spiked hair & Tatoos. Still others chewed gum or showed up in rumpled clothes or with their pants falling down. One recruiter even told a candidate with his trousers down below his hips, to "Pull your pants up."
The first impression you make on a potential employer is the most important one. The first judgment an interviewer makes is going to be based on how you look and what you are wearing. That's why it's always important to dress professionally for a job interview, even if the work environment is casual.
What's the appropriate dress code for an interview? You'll want that first impression to be not just a good one, but, a great one. The candidate dressed in a suit and tie is going to make a much better impression than the candidate dressed in scruffy jeans and a t-shirt.

How to Dress for an Interview:
Men's Interview Attire
• Suit (solid color - navy or dark grey)
• Long sleeve shirt (white or coordinated with the suit)
• Belt
• Tie
• Dark socks, conservative leather shoes
• Neat, professional hairstyle
• Clean shaven
• Limit the aftershave
• Neatly trimmed nails
• Portfolio file with documents properly organized

Women's Interview Attire:
• Suit (navy, black or dark grey)
• The suit skirt should be long enough so you can sit down comfortably
• Coordinated blouse
• Conservative shoes
• Limited jewelry (no dangling earrings or arms full of bracelets)
• Professional hairstyle
• Light make-up and perfume
• Neatly manicured clean nails
• Portfolio file with documents properly organized

What Not to Bring to the Interview:
• Gum
• Cell phone
• Ipod
• Cover tattoos

Interview Attire Tips:
• Before you even think about going on an interview, make sure you have appropriate interview attire and everything fits correctly.
• Get your clothes ready the night before, so you don't have to spend time getting them ready on the day of the interview.
• If your clothes are dry clean only, take them to the cleaners after an interview, so they are ready for next time.
• Polish your shoes.
• Bring a breath mint and use it before you enter the building.

Good news for OBC students, 4.5% quota in IITs

There is good news for IIT aspirants from the minority community. The IIT-JEE Admission Committee has decided to implement 4.5 per cent reservation for them within the 27 per cent seats meant for the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) from this year.

Those minority candidates who had submitted the application forms online and have not mentioned their status can do so on the IIT-JEE website — http://jee.iitd.ac.in/obcminority.php — by giving an undertaking that they have a minority status and would submit the certificate before the exam on April 8.
The undertaking has to be given to the respective zonal offices before March 20.

IIT-JEE Chairman G.B. Reddy said the application forms did not carry this information as this development was recent. He asked the students to submit the undertaking first and later submit the certificate to claim reservation. “We are giving enough time for candidates to secure the certificate. Non-submission of certificate will result in candidates not being considered for the category as a separate list will be prepared, he said.

It is for the State government to decide who fits in the minority category and certificate issued by the tehsildar concerned will be valid.

Following the reservation, around 430 minority candidates are likely to get admission in the 17 IITs across the country going by last year's figure of total 9,500 odd seats.
Professor Reddy said the final figure would be available after March 25, when the IITs have been asked to submit the list of availability of seats. Some IITs increase the seats and some others introduce new programmes. IIT-Hyderabad has written to the JEE Chairman that it will start two new programmes this year — Civil Engineering and Engineering Science, with 25 seats each.

So far 5,07,607 applications have been received by the IITs, slight increase from last year's figure. But the final number may change as some candidates have applied in two zones, while some others have failed to provide the necessary documents. We are writing to all such candidates to choose the zone they wish to appear in and also submit the documents immediately. The variation may not be huge,” Professor Reddy said.

Kanpur zone saw maximum applicants this year. Madras zone received about 78,000 applications. Last year, Bombay zone received the maximum applications. “We have altered the allocation of cities, where exam will be held, to different zones to ensure equal workload, he said.
